Google Search Console SEO: Understand What Google Sees, and Fix What It Can't
Google Search Console is free, and it's the closest you'll get to hearing from Google directly about your site. It shows which pages are indexed, which searches show your site, how many people click, what's broken and what's been flagged. Most sites use a fraction of it. Many have never looked past the front page.
It's Google's own tool for site owners. It reports on search performance, indexing, mobile and page experience issues, structured data, security problems and manual actions. It also lets you submit sitemaps and request indexing for specific URLs. Because it uses Google's own data, it's the starting point for nearly every SEO decision we make.
